WHY DIDN'T ANYONE TELL ME?

Those of you that have been following this blog, recently or from the very beggining, might have gathered that my absolute favourite, my desert island game, has to be the Baldur's Gate saga. Good news, then, that within this year they're getting a complete overhaul, now running on an updated version of the original, beloved 2D Infinity engine. Those "enchanced" versions of games one and two will include both expansions and also, new and original content made, in part, by the original developers.

Seems like a great way to revisit the Sword Coast and Amn, or, perhaps, unearth where it all started. Then again, it feels like remastering a Beatles album; there's bound to be things you won't be happy with if you're a long time fan. Stay tuned.
